I'm pretty sure the boss is only beatable through luck right now. 2 out of three attacks are impossible to dodge, so you just have to hope that they use their one attack that you can duck enough that you can beat them before you run out of health.
Said boss is also currently skipable with the current level layout, not sure if that was intended or not.
Also, two of the red pickups give the wall jump boots, and having two pairs doesn't seem to provide any extra bonus.
i mostly turtle at the opposite side of the screen to her and wall jump until she stops raising her sword to do another blade beam, though i do think she needs a more predictable pattern, you can also hit her sword back to her when she throws it to stop her doing the teleport attack
the first pair of walljump boots by the lobby are from before i had the actual location created
but as for being able to go to other places, the first boss wont be skippable since they guard the dodge roll, but you wont be forced to go there as soon as you get the walljump boots (where the villain turns the screens on)
theres no next room in the conveyer belt room, i havent figured out a solution to only let boxes through or figure out what im doing in the next room yet

i crawled through a small place and the game is freaking out and switching stages rapidly i am stuck :(

walljumping feels clunky and is actively painful on some of the larger gaps.
Is it possible to make the walljumping a little sticky. Give it a little delay or cling so its not as precise on the inputs?
it uses coyote time and the reverse like everything else, as long as youre in range or just about to be it should trigger
ah though there is a speed requirement so you cant use it if youre falling fast, it was metroids wall jump i was inspired by
im starting to wonder, is it not that you have to hold the jump button for max height thats bugging you?
